SAPEM 2026
We would like to inform you that the 8th Symposium on the Acoustics of Poro-Elastic Materials (SAPEM 2026) will take place from 16 to 20 November 2026 at Université Gustave Eiffel, Marne-la-Vallée (Greater Paris), France.
SAPEM continues a series of international meetings dedicated to research on acoustic porous and poro-elastic materials, bringing together researchers, students and professionals working in this field. The programme will include keynote lectures, contributed presentations, poster sessions and panel discussions.
The symposium will address topics such as characterisation and modelling methods, materials with flow, structure–property–manufacturing relationships (including bio-inspired and sustainable materials), and meta-materials and meta-structures.
The important dates are as follows:
- Abstract submission deadline: 15 May 2026
- Early registration deadline: 15 July 2026
