Federal Noise Abatement Commission

SGA member Jean Marc Wunderli is currently the president of the commission. Further members of the commission are SGA members as well.

Norm Committee on the SIA Norm 181

SIA-Norm 181 deals with noise control in building engineering. The committee is currently chaired by SGA member Samuel Rütti. Further SGA members are part of the committee.

On proposals by the SGA several unresolved issues as to the norm have been resolved (see korrigenda sia).

Noise Awareness Day

Every year in April the Noise Awareness Day takes place. It is organized by the SGA in cooperation with the following organisations: CercleBruit,   Physicians for Environmental Protection, Noise Leaque Switzerland. The Noise Awareness Day focusses on another topic every year.
